The title sounds interesting from your review. Thanks for the intro alert to it being a bit slow but keep reading. The plot sounds like a good mystery and it has a catching title :techie-studyingbrown:

I'm a huge fan of murder forensic shows and murder mystery novels intrigue. The way Shane puts the puzzle of Flynn's disappearance is intriguing. This book sounds like a good, rainy day read. I love the problem solving in stories like this one. Thanks for a great and enticing review.

Your review was very thorough, informative and open-minded. You carried us through the ups and downs of the book without pushing your opinions too hard in your review. It sounds like a book with a slow upstart but turns into an expressway somewhere within the book. A very good review.

I love mysteries and it is not unusual for them to start off a bit slow. As long as there is enough action to maintain interest I don’t mind a slower pace at first.

Crime and mystery are among my favorite genres. The errors won’t bother me too much since I know they’re here. Thanks for the review, I look forward to the read.

Thank you for a wonderful review! I think I may like this novel mainly because of its authenticity. I am glad that the element of suspense is still preserved even if the detective already assumes who the guilty person is. I understand the book is more of a police-procedural investigation novel and I am happy with the opportunity of following the real-life steps taken by a detective in order to solve the case.

This book sounds interesting, although it's a shame about the grammatical errors and weird fonts. I love the idea of a strong, female, Afro-American detective as the lead character. I'll have to check it out sometime. Thank you for the thorough review.

I don't normally read murder/detective story but I want to know what's happening about Flynn's disappearance and Shane's thought processes.
