Quick Reaction: Lie to Me, by J.T. Ellison

Post by Katiemhardy813 »

I just finished Lie to Me, by J.T. Ellison, my first book by that author. I'm torn - the story was excellent, I was sucked in from the very beginning! I enjoyed the pacing, the plot, the story, the characters... There were a few major characters - all distinct - and several minor characters, and NOT ONCE did I confuse the minor characters. I read a lot - 200+ books a year - and for me to find a fresh voice in the crime/thriller genre is quite a feat!

My only problem is this - did anyone else read this and have throwbacks to Gone Girl? I'm not quite sure if I think the comparison is too heavy, or if I should just throw up my hands and enjoy the fabulous story I just finished without worrying over it!

Lie To Me J T Ellison (spoiler)

Could someone please help?
Post a comment with "spoiler" in the headline?
I am not sure if I have the roles of all characters and personalities correct. Who killed whom, etc..
It is keeping me awake at night!
Thank you so much.
