Everyone likes a good thriller, and this one, featuring the ever-vigilant Sam Caviello, will be enjoyed by many. The meaning of the book's title will become apparent as the story progresses. In these modern times of blurred edges and non-clear-cut categories, there are clear definitions between good and evil, moral and immoral, and it's refreshing. There's a feel of good old-fashioned detective work mixed with modern high-tech aspects, making it a satisfying and strangely comfortable read. Sam is a hero through and through, faithful to those he loves and sincere to his colleagues. The other characters in the book are well-described and believable.

The book has two exciting stories which run parallel at first. We read about a nasty terrorist cell and the heart-wrenching abduction of a minor. The stage is set for a thrilling showdown, which will have the reader on the edge of their seat.

The author, Stan Comforti, has written several books featuring Sam Caviello. This character is the kind of detective we know will save the day and be vigilant for the next case. This fictional world seems safer with Sam at the helm.

The prose curiously drew me in as I read the book, leaving me eager to turn the page. The style is easy to read and action-packed. The plot has been developed well and gets deeper as the story progresses, but without the reader becoming confused. I found no grammatical errors; it has been edited well, and I disliked nothing. It was an enjoyable read. I imagine it as a TV series or movie and know who I would cast as Sam!

There were a couple of sensual moments, but nothing sexually graphic or sleazy, which I found refreshing. Therefore, I recommend this book for older teens upwards. I am awarding 'Finding Ena' a full five stars.
