This book sounds really unique and different. I like the idea of the vignettes that tell various stories.

Thank you for a great review kandscreeley on Going Gone. This dystopian story about the assassination of a Middle Eastern Prime Minister is intriguing. You get quite a bit information of Kurt and Keed in a few short sentences. Thank you Abraham.

I think I would be frustrated not knowing what happens to some of the characters. Since dystopian novels aren't my thing anyway, I think I will pass on this one. Thanks for the great review.
Interested in books that help one's spirit move beyond the ordinary.

Wow! I usually stay away from dystopians, but your review sent chills down my spine. This book sounds like a must read. I also enjoy the Black Mirror kind of storytelling they included, where it is a collection of different people's stories. As you said, though, they all connect, and that is my favorite kind of story. Excellent review!

I don't think a dystopian novel, unique or otherwise, is something I'm interested in. Added to the fact that I'm not really a fan of anthologies and I wasn't particularly drawn in by the sample, I think I'll be giving this one a pass. Thank you for the review, though!

I think this Novel was very true to life. I would be very interested to read the whole book. Lots of action and very intense. Seems to be able to keep you in the story quite easily. :techie-studyingbrown:

Thank you for this in depth review. True, this style of book will not allow for character development. because all the reader requires is to know just enough to better understand the subject matter- the disappearance of a society. I truly look forward to read this book, it will be an interesting read indeed.

Thank you for your review. This was definitely an unusual and interesting approach in this novel. I liked the way it was set up but dystopian novels are not one of my favoured genres.

I read the sample of this book and found it overwhelming, but it sounds like I should stick it out and read the whole thing! It seems like an interesting book.

I was hooked immediately. Nothing like a good politically charged drama. I’m currently in the middle of 2 books and writing a paper but this just moved to the top of my next list.

I love a good dystopian novel, and this unique approach to writing sounds like a very interesting way to attack the tale. Reminiscent of the book "World War Z", where small glimpses into each story surrounding a larger event are told, I can't wait to get my nose between the pages of this dystopian novel.

A country that has lost its leader is a rather common plot, I'd say. What attracts me from the story is how the story is told. Although I think I'd be one of those that want a conclusion for each character, still, I find the writing style alluring. Too bad about the grammar errors. Thanks for this detailed review!

I love dystopian thrillers and this one sounds great. It is interesting that it is a collection of stories. So excited to read!
