Thanks for your review. The word of caution to those who may not like gore stories or images is timely. At least the readership is well informed. The book tries to address some things that throughout history have been swept under the carpet. For instance, the issue of molestation of boys by priests.

The first thing that caught my attention about this book in the review was that the main theme is a serial killer going after priests. Mentioning that the killer had been molested by a priest as a child immediately let me know that this book isn't just about murder but the psychology of a murderer.

I feel like I already know too much about what happens to invest in this book. It does sound very interesting though, the thought of getting inside the mind of a serial killer. Most likely too scary for me at the moment.

The cover is something that really catches your eye. I read the first few lines and I'm hooked up. I really appreciate the author and your reviews were really good. This is kind of book I wanted to read alone and scare the hell out of me during night. Well, I really hope I can read it all !

Good review and description of the book. I like a good book that leaves it hard to truly dislike the antagonist. No one is usually completely good it completely evil. And like you said, everyone has their reasons for what they do. Even if sometimes we might not know what they are. Will check it out.

I don't like the dark theme of the story. Books about serial killers are not my usual cup of tea so I will have to pass this one. Great review though.

:o A book that gives you a full experiemce on how a serial killer's mind works? Intriguing! I've always wondered how they justify their actions after commiting a series of crimes.

This is definitely my cup of tea! It's alswaysbamazing for me to find what's going on inside a serial killer's mind. Also this book seems to show how trauma affects one's personality. I like how you said that there's two FBI agents who's hot in the main character's tail. I very much like this turn into a movie! Thanks for the review!

I've read more serial-killer-type books than any other kind of antagonist so this definitely sounds up my alley (though the cover art would've had me thinking otherwise.) Bonus points to the author for creating a love-hate character by exposing the reasons (warped yet justifiable) for his actions. Thus, I'm ready to delve into the book. I don't mind reading it without the first book in the series. Thanks for the review.

A great review for what seems to be a unique book. A glimpse into the mindset of the criminal is not something we generally find in thrillers, or even if there is such kind of a theme, it is often showed from the POV of the victim or the investigator. Hence this storyline will give insights I never knew before. I am most definitely going to read this book.
