The best mysteries are those where you second guess yourself on who the killer is and what the motive is until they are finally revealed. I will add this one to my want to read list. Thanks for the review.

I find that after reading a bunch of who done it or mystery novels, you tend to be able to predict the endings of most stories. But you mention that this book kept you guessing, so I'm excited to check it out. It's great that there weren't any mistakes. Great job on your review!

I’m a huge mystery/thriller fan, and this one sounds like it won’t disappoint. I’m intrigued by the well developed and thoughtful characters, as well as the intense pacing. Looking forward to this book!

This book sounds interesting and I'm curious as to how the different perspectives were pulled off since that's no easy feat.

Your review is beautiful! Your format and language are perfect and enticing. I really enjoyed reading your writing! Are you a writer as well?

Having just read the first few chapters I am already in agreement about how well written this book is. It is a pleasure to read with characters, action and explanations all believable and adding to the intrigue.
I am super keen to keep reading and take up the challenge your review has set: Can I solve it before the final reveal?!
Great review (no spoilers are appreciated!) and congrats to the author for BOTD :)

You have done quite a great job of analysing the characters' dispositions such as Kimi's possibility of having left on her own. I would try the book since it looks like it has some interesting twists from review therefore the reader can't just solve the puzzle prematurely in their minds. Very insightful.

The sample was riveting. The writing is vivid and eloquent and the characters intricately portrayed. Where has Kimi gone? Did she again disassociate or was she taken against her will?

Doucette and Dr. Pepper seem meant for the big time!

Thank you for the in-depth review Last Seen by J.L. Doucette. Based on your review, the story intrigues me with its unexpected twists in a small town setting of Wyoming. Dr. Pepper Hunt sounds like an interesting character who will continue to help solve mysteries in the ongoing series.

Dr Pepper lol I see what the author did there :) This sounds quite intriguing with the psychology aspects / disassociative character. I was going to read a non-fiction book next, but this may just jump the queue. Thank you for sharing your review.

This sounds awesome. Just what I look for in a book. I hope the rest of the series make it book of the day.

Thank you for a great review klbradley on Last Seen. The mystery thriller sounds interesting, a mystery that keeps guessing what happened will be a first, I usually figure it out before the story tells you. Thanks to the author.
