M 7:15 The Return of God by Samuel Belilty is a thrilling novel about the return of God to earth and the events that preceded His return. In a surprising and unexpected manner that was not expected by the clergy and religious leaders, an individual claiming to be God begins to communicate with several people through an app called COLT, an acronym for ‘Concurrent Opportunity for Luminous Transformation’. While God is supposedly communicating with those who download the app and giving them the opportunity to answer one question in a private chat on the app, the Pope is in doubt about the authenticity of the individual claiming to be God. Meanwhile, a cult group is going around doing the work of the Lord of Darkness. In what is seen as a confrontation and an affront to the Christian faith, Jesús Quintana is proposing a true freedom initiative. All these twists and characters build up to an exciting crescendo.

The book revolves around themes like good and evil, religion, free will, revenge, prophecy, and hope. The author writes this book explaining the intricacies of the workings of the Catholic Church and the European Parliament and also talks about satanic rituals and cults. The author explores the ambition of man and how destructive a wrong or evil conviction or belief can be to society and mankind as a whole. The author also demonstrates the omnipotence of God in this book.

My favorite thing about the book was the exciting battle or confrontation between Pope Victor V and Jesús Quintana. It was exciting seeing the back and forth, especially as the end of the story drew nearer. Both characters made the story so interesting, and they were both compelling in their points of view.

The book is deserving of commendation; it was a real page-turner. There is nothing to dislike about this book. It is exceptionally edited.

For such an electrifying novel, I give this book a perfect rating of 5 out of 5 stars. The storyline was superb. I recommend this book to lovers of religious thrillers, mystery, and the supernatural.
