Good informative review. My only comment is in regards to your recommendation about who may wish to give this book a pass (gun-owners). Wouldn't it be great if even one person changed their attitude after reading about the consequences of their choice? By only reading what reinforces the ideas we already have, we don't learn anything.

Wow :shock2: this definitely is a good read, thought-provoking🤔 We can clearly see how one great idea creates different reactions from people! Some use the opportunity for their good and for their loved ones as well, but some, unfortunately, use it to take on unsettled negative issues in their lives😔 To me, I think I would use that opportunity to be right with God and to set everything in order for the sake of my beloved family, being reminded of one verse in the Bible that I've read in Psalms 90:12 which says "Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom."
Thank you for giving us a great review! Best regards! :tiphat:

The premise of the story is intriguing and also timely to bring up the topic of gun control. It also puts into question that modern technology isn’t always good for society. Thanks for your review!

Wow! This book has a good plot I would imagine what a device for knowing when one's time on earth would be up can do in real life. Now capturing people's reactions to their own knowledge of end of life sounds really intriguing to me. At this point, the gun ownership dilemma won't stop my aroused interest. Thanks Van

I'd love to read this book! I like books that invite the readers to think, and where there is the element of gun ownership, I am more intrigued by the doctors who developed the device.

I agree with you that the book's premise will stay with you for a long time. I read this book quite a while ago, and I still think about it at times. I don't think I would want to know the time of my death.

While drawing awareness to gun control, today's BOTD is thought-provoking and suspenseful! I would want to know when my time is up because I'd want to say goodbye to loved ones. Sadly, some don't get the chance to share their last words with those they care about. 😢 How would you spend your "last days?" Would you spread love or seek revenge? I definitely think Final Notice is going to make its way up the charts today! Thx for the great review! I've downloaded my copy! :-)

I am not a lover of fiction as such but getting the feel of the debate about gun ownership draws my interest to read this book. Love the review.

:( This book sounds interesting for me. Yes we all know that we die sooner or later. In my own point of view it was better if you already know when you die. Why? Because you have time to prepare to settle things that need to be settled. And also you have time to correct what you need to be corrected. Instead of hurting others because your life is miserable! Why not look at the positive way. Because in this life we all just pilgrims and we really had a true home in heaven. Instead of sinning why not repent... Thank you. God bless
