I've been looking forward to reading something else by the author of Raven's Peak, so I'm glad this one became BOTD. Great review!

This review makes the book seem very similar to The Exorcist; questioning whether the child is possessed or not, cold, wet weather, an inexperienced exorcist.... Makes me wonder if the story is very original.

Seems very interesting. I kind of see a resemblance with Raven's Peak. The storyline and the characters seem promising.

I've never been a big fan of exorcism movies or stories, It's just one of those things I can without, but this was a great review and does give the book an interesting look.

The title pulled me towards the book and after reading your review, I am determined to read it.A person with no belief in demons, but have practised the art of chasing it away is going to face the real one. It is going to be exciting for sure. Wonderful review! Thanks!

Niccolo does sound like an interesting character but I don't have an interest in the plot about exorcism. Thanks for the review.

When one's faith is questioned, what do you do? This is Father Niccolo's dilemma as he ventures in Everett, Washington. I would definitely want to read this book. Thank you for your review!

Thanks for the review! It gives a great idea of the book and it almost makes me want to read it - even though reading about possible necessary exorcisms really isn't my thing!

It seems that you have really enjoyed the book based on your review. And your enjoyment becomes my source of excitement. I like the mental tug-of-war element of the story as well as the exceptional writing ability of the author on tense scenarios. Thanks for your superb review.

Great review! I have read several of this author's other books and enjoyed them. I am interested in reading this one as well and I am curious to see which character appears in the novel. It sounds like it has an exciting plot to it. Thank you for sharing.

Wow, this sounds pretty interesting. I like the drama and intensity and the different views on demonic activity that are explored.

Based on your review I am looking forward to this book even more than before, a tense book which deals with demons, and a the doubting's of faith, sounds right up my street. Thank you for the review.

It sounds like reading this book could be like Lucille Ball in "I Love Lucy" reading a horror story. She gets so engrossed she doesn't notice people around her until they touch her or yell and the book goes flying out the window! To the point she ties the book to her wrist so she doesn't have to go out after it. If I read this book I may have to tie my iPad to my wrist to be sure I'm not startled to the point of throwing the iPod out the window! Nice review!
