Destroying the cocaine trade? Governments could pick up a few tips from this book. I like the concept because the narrative is mostly about promoting the cocaine trade.

The book seems to be a nice fast paced thriller with all that suspense between the military, Franko and Sloan and drug lords, but I don't think the topic of drugs is for me.

I am usually interested in these kind of future based conflict books but this one just seems a bit off of my personal tastes. That being said it sound like there is plenty here to really engage the reader!

Good review. The plot sounds interesting. I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t a plan in some government lock box somewhere. I’m glad you called out the weak take on the female characters. I hate when that happens.

Too bad about the lack of strong female characters! That’s a must for me. Sounds like it would have been a good book otherwise.

An exciting thriller. A scientist has discovered a fungus that can put an end to the cocaine problem and has the drug lords gunning for him. Nice review, thanks.

Dr Paul Sloan, a brilliant bioscientist theorizes a plant-killing fungus genetically engineered to be specific to the coca plant. This is a threat from to the prevalent cocaine trade.
Will Sloan succeed? i can't wait to find out.
Thanks for the very insightful review!

The initial chapters of the story were intriguing and I already developed an empathy towards the characters who had been introduced. Having read the review I am even more captivated and ready to become immersed in the story! A beautifully written review worthy of 4 out of 4!

I have not had a chance to read a biological thriller with a theme on war against cocaine nonetheless , so I am most happy to get my hands on this. An analytical review you have there pinpointing the display of women in the book as trophy wives or girlfriends.

It's too bad about the female characters, but it still seems like a really interesting story. I think it's one I would highly enjoy since it's so realistic. Thanks for the great review.

I was intrigued by the sample, and the review just confirmed that this is a book I want to read. I disagree with the CaitlynLynch that it's necessary to have strong female characters for a book to be enjoyed by women. Not having read the book, I get the feeling that the book probably reflects the reality in this area of politics.

The review was outstanding and well-equiped; which make it real more than seeing movies. Very interesting pieces from the author. I will surely get it to be read.

This book seems dark and too many thrillers but medical and biological ain't easy subjects to put on a book. Spelling and grammar errors should be avoided.

I enjoy reading stories that make you believe they are real. This is only achieved when author researched well and shows their mastery through their writing. Good thing this is the case in this book! Too bad about the role of women in the story is diminished. Thanks for the review!
