Thanks for this review! I also enjoyed the smart plot and Max' and Karis journey a lot! I hope there will be more from Christoph Martin soon!
I rated it 4/4

This sounds like an interesting premise, with a potential for good characters, so it's too bad that you thought it went kind of meh... But based on the fact that others liked it well enough, I think I'll still give it a shot! Thanks for the review!

Thanks for the honest review and pointing out the book's weakness. It helps us readers make choices on which books to read and what to expect

Nice book, although one needs a better concentration to really follow and understand it better. On a factual note, one need to do this twice

I love the way it persuades you to read it over and over again! It is really captivating.

The book is quite interesting as it reveals the different aspect of character traits by the individuals concern. But it would have been more detailed and very informing if the rest of the characters story has been fulfilled. Max lifestyle tells of the importance of learning to know individual differences before trusting them.

Good review. I downloaded this a couple of months back and I am kind of skeptical too. But now, at least I know what to expect from this book. Thanks a bunch!

A thriller filled with espionage, revenge, and betrayal sounds exciting. A pity the story starts with a bang and then goes downhill as the premise sounds intriguing. I prefer high octane thrillers, so I am not sure this one is for me. Thank you for the enlightening review!

This is a great book filled with science, engineering, corporate espionage, clandestine agencies, and more. All this action is based on the expansion of one of the world’s most economical passageways: the Panama Canal.
