I do not think this is a story for me to read. I like books that keep me interested and feeling something all the way. Sounds like the flow of this political thriller goes up and down. Thanks for the review!

It is so disappointing to me when I expect to love a book, but then really don’t. I don’t know if I would have been able to make myself read it twice!

Reading it once through it was a decent story. I think it needs to be read more than once to actually get the full meaning.

I don't think this sounds like my kind of book, but thanks for the very thorough review.

I read this one too, and likewise found it a little too slow.

It sounds like an interesting mix of politics, mystery and intrigue. The sample certainly draws the reader in with the helicopter crash. I also like that Panama is used as the setting, as it's not hugely present in popular fiction.

Thanks for the review. Thrillers are not my cup of tea so this book is not for me but your review was brilliant.

The theme does not particularly appeal to me but I have read the sample. Great to see a book with minimal mistakes.

Thanks for the review. I also get frustrated when a story moves in a way that prevents me from remembering anything and then rapidly increases pace towards the end.

Reading and re-reading a book just to understand what it's all about doesn't cut so well for me. Christoph Martin's The Expansion has been on my TBR list for a while. Now, I have to read it and see how it goes. Fine review!

This thriller sounds very promising once the writer fixes the issues you mentioned. The author clearly has talent for suspense, so once that's worked out, this will be a perfect book for this genre.

While this is a great review, it doesn't sound like a book that I would enjoy reading.

If an expert read this book twice before understanding it then I wonder how a beginner like me will read and understand. A book that does not make any impact is not worth reading.
