Review of A Journey of the Heart
[Following is a volunteer review of "A Journey of the Heart" by Brenda Benning.]
A young woman named Lundyn is trying to figure out who she really is and where she belongs. When some unexpected events happen, she starts questioning everything she thought she knew about herself, her life, and her mom. With the help of a stranger, her best friend, and an unexpected ally, Lundyn begins to find her way and solve mysteries she didn't even realize existed. Along the journey, she discovers secrets about her past that could change her future.
"A Journey of the Heart" is a captivating story that really draws you in. Lundyn and her friend Sally Jo are such interesting characters, and you can't help but get caught up in their journey. The plot keeps you guessing with lots of surprises, especially when they're trying to uncover the truth about Lundyn's mom. It's a rollercoaster of emotions too, with moments that make you laugh and others that bring tears to your eyes. The friendships in the book feel real and add so much heart to the story. Overall, it's a really well-written mystery that also explores important themes like family and friendship, and it'll stick with you long after you finish reading.
