The Expansion by Christoph Martin is a crime-thriller book covers linking the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans via project expansion of the Panama Canal. AA well deserved 4 out of 4 stars.

Business, power, and passion a mix that brings out the best and worst in people as they crave and lust for more. An exceptional review of this intense book

Sounds like a unique topic for this genre of story and I appreciate your detailed summary. I think the cliffhanger would leave me frustrated as well.

Thanks for the informative review. I read the whole book and I consider it one of the bests in its genre. I love how the author presented the issues behind the Panama Canal expansion. This is a great read.

The review of this book makes me want to like it but, unfortunately, the theme of the book does little to spark my interest. You wrote a comprehensive review, disappointing to hear the ending was not satisfying.

The title didn`t catch my attention as a mystery/thriller. As I`ve read the review, I think it is interesting and exciting at the same but I don`t like cliffhanger stories.

A much sought after international project, involving underhanded tactics promises to be a great book to read. This is a very informative review without any spoilers. Thank you for the review.

I love to read a good thriller, but the whole idea about the engineering contest kind of puts me off. Still, thanks for the amazing review, I really enjoyed reading it.

Sounds like a captivating story but I don't like books that end on a cliffhanger. Still, thanks for the great review.

Murder, crime, mystery and secret agencies? Sounds like an exciting read! I like the idea of the setting is in the Panama Canal. It's good that the author doesn't include too much jargon. Too bad about the abrupt ending, but I'm glad that you enjoyed this read!

I think, from the book review, I like a reader will want more of the story.

The book doesn't give a good ending as it leaves audience in suspense.

I did read this on a previous book of the day. The review is pretty great for the content in the book and not providing too much to spoil the read. The cliffhanger isn't so bad, but if it will be followed up I do enjoy that!
