The diverse powers at play provide the intrigue, and the life of Max Burns seems to add the human interest. Looking forward to reading it.

I love the C/T/M/H genre, romance of the classic literature without detailed sex scenes, and fond of reading crime and thrillers. Sounds an exciting book one must read.

And I'll be chomping at the bit to get it with you, the sequel, that is. I happen to be in love with this first book. All I have for it are good adjectives. It was one of a kind.

This should be put under the classics. It's a book you get to remember years after reading it.

Your review for the book is excellent, from its description and the things you find good and you like.
I would also like to read fast-paced novels since it holds my interest in it and allows me to finish reading in just a few sitting. I am not a fan also of cliffhangers, since it will leave me frustrated. However, based on your review, the book seemed interesting and one of a kind.

This book has been on my list for a while. I should get started on it because I haven't read a political crime book in a while.

Just love how the review begins..the background information and detailed description of Max Burns by the author is awesome.Add to it the corprate espionage, clandestine companies and cutthroat deals has me already hooked! Promises intrigue, hot twists and suspense all I love in a thriller... Would totally read it! Thanks for the awesome review!
