This was a good review, except that the thrill of finishing my reading of it has been somewhat blunted since I already know too much about the ending.

Latest Review: "That Place of Knowledge" by Philip Alan Shalka

The characters backstory in the beginning of the book was absolutely fantastic. I did a sampling of the book and found myself sucked in. To come here and read this after doing so make me want to continue and read the rest of this story. It seems like a great book and with it being short I am sure I will be eager to read what comes next. Wonderful review of a book that seems to uphold to its rating from what I did read thus far.

It didn't left much impression to me since I only read the sample. I like how Martin show a bit of backstory of Max's parents death without revealing too much that keep the readers intrigue. I just wished that I got to read a few more chapters so I could sink more into it.

This looks like a book that's perfect for me. The premise is very interesting though I think I might wait until the series is completed before beginning it.

I read the excerpt of this book and I will be getting it from Kindle unlimited. Based on how Max parents lived and died I wonder what will come out of the woodwork if he undertake the Panama Canal expansion with his colleagues. What will happen with his wife ... or Alexandra.... looking forward to reading the whole book.

Christoph Martin I believe that novels are creative cultural products that must in a way or another amplify the human.

This book sounds like an amazing one to read. I love how you put it "This book dips the reader's toe into the cutthroat business world"
This book will be on my shelf soon. Thank you for the review.

The featured review of The Expansion by Christopher Martin made me eager to read this book which is about subjects I usually find incredibly boring.
