I like crime/thriller novels. To be honest however, when it comes to series, I prefer watching them on TV than reading.

What a helpful review! I came here wondering if I should pick up a copy. I've decided to wait until the sequel is out as I'm dreadfully weary of cliffhangers.

I'm eagerly awaiting the time that I can dig into this fascinating story!

Although the thought of reading a book knowing there will be a sequel-bating-style cliffhanger leaves a bit of a bad taste in my mouth, your review intrigues me. You made this book sound right up my alley and I'll definitely have to check it out. Perhaps I will wait for a follow-up, though.

I thoroughly agree that the cliffhanger at the end was a little too sharp, a little too obvious. I cannot wait for a sequel and I truly hope that Martin does not disappoint. Thanks for your input!

By looking at the cover of the book I thought that this novel was a horror novel. I'm glad that it's a thriller and that the sex scenes are not too graphic. Some authors go over board with the graphic sex scenes and that can be such a turn off for me. Thank you for the review, the plot sounds very intriguing and I cannot wait to read the book!

Your review is really excellent. I have read this book as well and defiantly enjoyed it. I personally thought the beginning was a little off-putting, but overall it was a well paced novel!
