Since everyone forms their opinions and conclusions based on the sum of their experiences and preferences, it is a tricky thing with other peoples reviews.
May I be so blunt as to ask what your favourite genre is, what pace is perfect (giving an example as reference can be helpful), you said the romance part felt rushed, may I ask what (if anything particular) caused that feeling?
What (if you can point as example) gave the feeling of dragged on?
Would you say that this is a mystery, thriller, or a whodunit book?
It helps to know your point of origin when trying to assess the review

I like to read all kinds of books. If I had to pick one I'd go for science fiction. To me a book with a perfect pace has a good blend of action with description. This is definitely a mystery with a supernatural element. The romance felt rushed because it was one date and then they were just together. That was it. There wasn't enough time spent getting to know each other. Hope that answered your questions.

Thank you for the insightful review. While the book didn't get all the stars, I believe I will give it a try. A ghost wanted for murder? Worth a peep for me.

The fact that the book is not a cliffhanger and the killer is revealed in the end, will make it a good read. Thank you for the review.

Having ghosts in real places is a nice mix of fiction and reality. I believe this mystery book with some humor in it will be a nice read. Great review.

Good review, it sounds like a good haunted detective mystery storyline.
