The book Desert Hunt is so interesting it brings attention of a reader whenever reads about Al- Qaeda Terrorism. Though the Four Intelligence Agencies came out to solve that but I wonder whether they managed to stop and eradicate all the plans of Al Qaeda :) .

I initially shied away from this book as I thought it would be too complex for me to follow. After reading your review I might reconsider, as you have described the book as having a smooth and vivid writing style. Thank you for this review.

Desert Hunt can be passed for Shall We Tell the President? and the difference between Menon and Archer might just be six and half of a dozen. It requires diligence and professional proficiency to peep through the bunker of multilateral conspiracy as exemplified by the activities of Al-Qaeda and Taliban, hence Menon deserves commendation. I am particularly overwhelmed by the audacity of the author to interrogating a rising global trend bordered on hypocrisy and pretense. In most instances, the public admonitions, the high- heaven abuses and criticisms of western values are mere gimmicks that never depict the real affection and admiration. If you solicit my honest opinion, i would have South Asians as microcosmic portrayal of the reality in other parts of Asia and beyond. Great review

What I've come to appreciate with this group is that it opens up such a wide variety of books which I wouldn't either find or pick up. This is a great review and the setting and main character nationalities provide a nice change

The review intensified my interest in the book. During these days that terrorists hold us all hostage to fear, this book seems all the more timely. Chilling to know that terror is real.

This book is definitely for me because of its political ingredient. I commend K S R Menon for a great job of bringing out a fresh plot from the political thriller genre.

Sounds like the author has done deep deep research in this topic. I wonder which parts of the story is fact and which is just made up. Although I'm not sure if I really want to know because I might not like the answer. Anyway, thanks for your great review. I hope I could get a free copy in the future and get a chance to read this. ?

This seems like a novel I would definitely like to read. The most compelling detail for me would be the fact that both the parties have a man from the same country. This definitely makes my to-read list.

I was riveted by the free sample available on Kindle; this looks like a great thriller in the tradition of Tom Clancy and other great espionage adventure writers!
