I just finished reading this book, and my heart was chilled and warmed alternately throughout the reading. Unfortunately, it may not be based on actual events, but the subject matter is very real and timely. As the wife of a Protestant pastor, I am well aware of the dangers that lurk in the corners of the church, and what temptations might allure its members and clergy. Thanks for a well-done review!

Fantastic review! This sounds like a touching and thought-provoking novel and I appreciate the author bringing awareness to this subject.

No mother deserves to have her children brutalized, especially by a place she considered a safe Haven.

Thanks for the review.

This is a fantastic review. The book is filled with so much mystery and intrigue. What makes it more interesting is the controversial topic of the involvement of the Church in a heinous act. Definitely on my "want to read' list.

This subject is definitely a touchy one but an important subject to discuss. While this is a great review, the possibility that this is based on real life events is very disturbing.
