Bishop's War by Rafael Amadeus Hines is an honor and a privilege to read. This fine political, action, and thriller makes for reading on a great holiday such as this one, like Veteran's Day. A well deserved 4 out of 4 stars rating.

FREE Book1 in the Bishop series. Seems like too much violence, gore, and profanity for me...but it's a great tribute to our veterans on this day & the story line is very timely. Thanks for an informative review!

I agree with the review. The novel actually seems to be a Hollywood thriller and also reminds me of Sheldon, as it was he who wrote a captivating novel on likewise storyline.

The complicated life of Bishop is true to those people who are and who were in the military service. This book could be dedicated to the people who sacrificed their lives and who will sacrifice their own happiness. Terrorism is one of our international issues which are unavoidable and perennial.

Wow, the review drew me into a book that I generally would not pick up. However, it does sound like a movie I would watch and that alone makes me want to read it. Filled with action, heroism, terrorism, and the mob? I mean what else do you need in a movie...I mean book.

This story focuses on the tragedy of reality in life of the terrorism.

The review is good but profanity, graphic violence and gore is not my thing. Im not a thriiler fan though I have read some of James Patterson books, I dont agree with one review reader who compared the two. Bishop's War sounds way more "thriller" than Patterson 's books. I may be wrong as I havent read all of Patterson 's books.

The travel to the different locations sounds interesting, and the plot sounds thrilling. Not sure I'd go for the violent scenes though.
