Don't worry, I don't think the book was terrifying. It had some action scenes and it dealt with demons but the demons were too chatty and they seemed like human, so they werent like those in the conjuring or something, dont worry. It is a great book, try it :techie-studyingbrown:

There is a work of fiction that reads. And there is a work of fiction that tingles you from neck to toe. Reading this book is living in that reality.Plenty of toe curling moments.

I thought the sample was very vivid and I agree that the reader gets drawn into the storyline right away! Thank you for noting the errors - that would indeed be distracting.

Great review. It has me interested in reading book. It would be interesting to find what happened to the Reverend to make him the way he is. It is finally know a book can have a male and female characters stay friends.
It is unrealistic to have a 20 yr old male, to not know which way to hold a gun.

Raven's peak is a great book. My best character in that book was the reverend. I was amazed by the platonic relationship between Haatim and Abigail. That proves that a man and a woman can be friends without involving romance. I'm looking forward to the next series of this book because I want to know what happened to the reverend. A wonderful and detailed review.

And it's back!
Raven's Peak is a great book. The cover always gets me though, because it looks like a weird person with a beak looking of to the side. Then I look closer and it's a raven on a rock. Every. Single. Time.
It really matches the horror aspect of the book so, good job.

This definitely sounds like my kind of book, especially the Reverend's internal moral conflicts and the questioning of morally-wrong means to reach the ends of defeating a great evil. I'm also glad to see notes which indicate that the book has since been edited; it drives me a little crazy when they haven't been. Thank you for the thorough and insightful review.

Not much of a fan of series, but this looks like it's gonna be an exciting one. Good vs. evil & right vs. wrong... intriguing themes to explore. Thanks for a great review!

I love this review. Oddly, I do enjoy reading about a character's well written turmoil. I wanted to read this book and now I have more interest in it.

Great review. Although I was not quite fan of horror, I had given this book a chance and was entranced from start that I beginning to unfold this story till ended.

Never regrets though as I put up with a turned on lights for sleeping that night?.
