Great review. If I enjoyed reading this genre I would be motivated to read this book. I downloaded a sample of the book but unfortunately or fortunately was unable to complete.

This review was a good one, it gave a very concise overview of the book. The theme of the book reminds me of a movie called: The Rite. Anthony Hopkins played a Jesuit priests/exorcists who lost his faith in he middle of the movie and has to battle his way back because he, himself was possessed by a demon.
Fighting evil requires unwavering faith but we must not forget that we are humans too. That God Himself has given us the faculty of knowing that's why we question things and if the answers don't suit us that's when we lose a bit of faith.
I also like the reviewer's evaluation of the character "Haatim". Since he left home at a young age and has been living by his own way, and he's in his mid twenties, he should be more street-wised than his portrayal in the book, he may be ignorant with regards to the supernatural way but he should at least know how to hold a gun.

This sounds interesting. Maybe a bit too dark for me, but I would love to read this when I get the time. Great review!

Thank you for mentioning the horror aspects. I am not a horror fan. If I do choose to read this book, at least I know what I'm in for.
