de book is certainly an interesting one, base on how it was narrated it draws de interest of de reader into finding more on wat happened in it,however it will also shy away de interest of some readers.

Having just read this book I have to say your review is excellent. It's such a gripping and shocking read but perhaps also mind changing in the way that we view sex workers. I found it both disturbing and interesting, not wanting to read on at times for fear of what I would read and yet not wanting to put it down for fear of what I would miss. Certainly it's for mature readers as your review suggests

I am particularly touched by the pain and grief aspect of the novel. It must have been a traumatic experience for Lilian going through the pain and humiliation she may have undergone. Great review.

This looks super provocative and intriguing. I look forward to digging in and reading it. Prostitution is such a touchy subject.

Really detailed and insightful review.
Gives just enough information to whet your appetite without giving too much away. The twist of Vivian taking the place of her twin is ingenious and really makes it that much more surreal to know that this is based off real life events. Makes you wonder how many crimes slip through the cracks or are just brushed aside.

Wow. That's not at all what I thought this was by just the title. This sounds fascinating in a "I want to look away but can't" way. May give this a try. Thanks for your review!
You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.

This book sounds like a really unique story. I like that the author is able to provide some real insight into this lifestyle while still keeping the book interesting. I appreciate the reviewer describing the violent and graphic sex scenes. This may not be the book for everyone but I will add it to my maybe list.
