The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides is an absolute must read for thriller lovers. Not forgetting Master of the Game by Sidney Sheldon.

A little generic but Gone Girl, Dan Brown books and Agatha Christie are a go to!

I totally agree with this. I just finished up the Will Trent series recently and am going to miss hearing about Will. I haven’t read her Grant County series, so I’ll be pursuing that soon.

I would highly recommend Sue Grafton. I cannot put down the novels until I have finished them!

Any of Chris Carter's books! They are gruesome but just soo good. He has a main character called Robert hunter who works in homicide and all his books are him chasing a new killer with his partner Carlos Garcia. Has chapters from the side of the serial killer that are chilling. Would defo recommend it.

Could you please recommend the darkest, most twisted, psychological thriller you have ever read? I seem to be craving this genre right now, but can't seem to find one that dark and twisted enough to leave me speechless.

Thanks!

I love reading books that you can't predict. You may think you know what's going to happen, but halfway through you change your mind. I also enjoy it when a book has a crazy twist at the very end that surprises you. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance! :D

Invisible by James Patterson is a fine thriller novel that the readers of this forum can put their hands on. It has a gripping storyline and a mind-numbing plot twist. James Patterson usually writes interconnected books, so reading a standalone from him is a good start if this is going to be his first book for you.
