Review of Broken Inn
Today, I would like to give you a review of a wonderful book by AW Baldwin. I read “Broken Inn” one of the novels in the “Relic” Series. This book is an “easy read”, and opened into immediate action, and I love that. Right from the beginning, you are hooked. The first couple of chapters introduces the characters. Because the characters are split up with chapters, it makes them very easy to follow, and it is easy to know what is going on. This book is about a young college student, Hailey, who is struggling with her life right now. She needs a paying job in her field because she is short a few credits, so her college advisor found her a job to get a feel for the “ins and outs” of her field. Only bad part about it, is the only opening that is available is in the Desert Canyons of Utah. Hailey goes to Utah and runs into the biggest story of her life…. MURDER. Does she believe what she just saw or is her mind playing tricks on her? Hailey meets Relic (cool character) and together, along with Ash, the Newspaper photographer, goes back out to the Canyon to find the truth and gets themselves into all kinds of trouble. What is really going on in this Canyon? And who can you trust?
I highly recommend this book for anyone teens through adults, who love mystery, action, and adventure.
This book was professionally edited. I give this book a 5 out of 5-star rating. Not only did it keep me reading, but there are a couple of books in the “Relic” series, and you do not have to read them in any certain order to understand and know what is happening. The book flowed amazingly, and at the end, I was satisfied with no "unanswered" questions. AW Baldwin, put a map in the beginning of the book. This is an EXCELLENT addition. It really helps you follow along with all the characters footprints.
