This sounds like a really fun novel, but I'm not too keen on the timeline switches, especially if the protagonist has an unreliable memory. The potential unreliable narrator in a fast-paced thriller is something I would have difficulty with.I don't think I would have the patience to wait for the truth to unfold, unlike with a movie. However, I enjoyed reading your review. You have done a good job of trying to convey the book's synopsis without giving too much away.
