The title reminded me of a prison akin to a furnace with blazing feline creatures guarding prisoners in the movie 'Chronicles of Riddick', and I kind of expected somewhat a plot to that extent or mind-blowing creamations of the dead.
I'm not sure the title matches the storyline, and seeing the concurrent reviews, I might read it later.

This promises a long series of investigation, rollercoaster of emotions, and seeking closure. It’s going to be a wonderful read.

The title did put me off at first because I disdain horror but after reading your review, this is going to be my 'to read' list runner up.

I like the title, it looks interesting because I like horror stories, the twists and turns of the story are good, but the author doesn't animate the story because when I read it, I don't seem to get into the storyline

The combination of action, mystery and horror sounds to bring about a tensed and engaging reading experience. I enjoyed the opening of your review

This seems like an engaging mystery with a significant psychological element that adds strength to the novel. I'm curious about the various events connected to Maggie's misfortune. Thank you for your great review!
