The cover page of this book looks bloody. It must be a horror book. I'm not a fan of horror books. But your is captivating. Great review.

It's a shame that the book is poorly edited. However, from the cover page up to the storyline, the book catches my attention. What an amazing review you pulled up!

I love crime thrillers if they are not too horrific. Although I'd find the legends from the Philippines intriguing, I am afraid that the horrifying creature and a mummified fetus sound too much for my taste. I would surely get nightmares from this book... :o

Anyway, thank you for the most lovely review! It was a pleasure reading your thoughts.

The description interests me. I've read a lot of dark fantasy books, so I should get through this one just fine. Thanks for the wonderful review!

I know I would love this novel. Philippine mythology is not something that is often mentioned, and I'd really like to know more about it. Thank you for the great review :)

It seems there is a lot of mystery to be unravelled in this book. What is the connection between the monster and the wealthy family?
You are yet to be the best version of yourself. Keep refining.

"Also, I liked the scene with Althea, Luther's fiancée, scaring away the monster that harmed her with a salt and garlic solution."

A garlic again? This is such a popular plant! According to many books and movies, vampires fear him too.
I wonder what other monsters are afraid of poor innocent garlic?

Anyway, thanks for great review.
