Book 1 of a 4 book series, Rosemary Reeve introduces Jack Hart - An associate lawyer at a big law firm. Narrated throughout the book by Jack, this suspense thriller deals with murder, a missing person, a reappearance of a lost friend, a past that Jack has tried for years to put behind him, a dog that has her issues with people in general, and a lot of twists throughout the book.

Harmony Piper, a dear friend of Jack Hart's goes missing. Her father gets murdered over in Japan, her secretary gets murdered at work in Seattle, all while the police are trying to find Harmony. Jack Hart is also desperate to Find Harmony so much so he helps the police as Jack thinks Harmony had absolutely nothing to do with the murders and wants to prove she is innocent. One of the officers on the case has a history with Jack, which helps Jack to become more involved to trace what happened to Harmony, her father, and her secretary.

Rosemary Reeve has done a fine job of introducing Jack Hart, who has a past best forgotten, a dog Betsy that trusts no one, and an old friend Mark, who Jack has not seen for over Fifteen years who is now a police officer working on the case of trying to find Harmony Piper, who is missing. As the first of a four-book series, this is well written and could be a stand-alone book, Rosemary delves into Jack's history that he would like to be left in the past, and introduces his mother that he would rather have nothing to do with, a surprise that makes him have to deal with his mother and a friendship that he thought was dead and buried that makes this book loveable, enjoyable and full of mystery.

Rosemary Reeve introduces her main character, Jack, by having him narrate the book throughout. Rosemary also does a great job of filling in the other characters of the book so we can imagine them all easy enough to follow the strengths and weaknesses of each character portrayed in "All Good Things".A well-written book that was thoroughly enjoyable.

This book was very easy to read, a page-turner that I did not want to put down. A great suspense story that was a mystery as to who was the killer right until the end. I enjoyed this book and very much look forward to Rosemary Reeve's 2nd installment of Jack Hart. I have given this book 4 out of 4.
