The plot reminds me of The Night Stalker.
I may have to avoid reading this book because it can be triggering.
I enjoyed reading your review, though.

The story is really dark in some bits, so it's not for everybody. Thank you for your appreciation!

Wow! The psychological part of the book really caught my attention. Although, I think I would also get bothered by the cliche act too. Not sure, I'll check this one out. Thank you for the review.

I think this novel has more merits than flaws, so if you're more drawn to the killer's story with its twist than to the cliches about the cop, you can enjoy it. Thank you for commenting!

It seems like an adventurous book with quite some mystery in it. I don't like its predictability, however. Great review!

Predictability affects the cop's life and behaviour, but luckily the killer's story has a number of twists. Thank you for your appreciation!

The plot is interesting but obviously predictable as you pointed out. I might not be cut out for this book though. Thanks for an insightful review.

There are twists in the killer's story but if you're looking for something original in the cop's story, I can't honestly recommend this novel. Thank you for your appreciation!

This story sounds like it has a complex plot with a lot of in-depth analysis of the human mind. But it might be too gory for me.

Thank you for sharing your honest thoughts.

It is some kind of dark psychological case of a serial killer. Much more interested in the investigation with the cop. I always like to read stories of agents rather than superheroes. Thanks for your honest and amazing review. :D
