These stories sound very moving and powerful. It's good to find out that the characters found the strength to fight the abuse they were subjected to.
Thanks for writing such an amazing review :tiphat:

Good God!
This is what we call 'kasala' which means , disaster.
It is truly remarkable that the author has takes on the task of talking about these problems in society.
Quite inspiring, even as it is sad that this has to happen at all.

Great review.

The story is a bit confusing and interesting, seeing what women go through is so not funny and acceptable, good review

Absolutely. Especially in the last story, one way to describe this book would be women trying to cope with disaster after disaster, some successfully and some unsuccessfully. The author is definitely courageous to write about these issues. Thanks for commenting!

Although there seemed to be some aspects of this book that you didn’t like as much, it still sounds like such an amazing book! Weirdly, though I’m not fond of self-help books (too preachy for my tastes), I’ve always adored true or fictional stories about endurance and hope. Great review!

Yes, it was definitely a great book! I went through a phase of reading self help books this year and found out that I’m not a fan of them either, so I can see where you’re coming from; it seems kind of pretentious to me for an author to proclaim that their book contains the secret to success, happiness etc. I would much rather prefer a book like this which has a message but isn’t too “in your face” about it. I love that! Self-help books do give me a pretentious vibe, regardless of whether or not this was the author's intention. I love that this book isn't like that, and that it's message has more the vibe of "If you want to take this lesson, take it, but you don't have to." Thanks for your reply and have a great day!

The themes of the stories are really difficult and delicate, but I am aware that readers need books like this. Thanks for the good and objective review.
