Insomnia - Stephen King

Post by Lee_93 »

About a month ago I read the novel Insomnia by Stephen King. It blew me away and made me think about life and choices that I have made or should make. It is a thrilling read and at times rather comical. "I would be sitting there and all of a sudden burst out laughing, my fiance would just give me this really quizzical look." I found this book to be rather enthralling and the story line was full and thought provoking. The characters where loveable even when you wanted to hate them. It is written in three points of view but one point of view all at once, and Stephen King has just made it work to the point where your brains changes characters and you don't really notice. I loved this book and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good read, horror, a thought provoking story or just an all around enjoyable journey. :)

One of my favourite Stephen King books. The characters are indeed loveable, and the ending is not what you would expect.

I picked this book up at a used book store for only a couple dollars. It sits on my bookshelf unread. Sounds like I need to move it up the line. I think King is a master storyteller.

My favorite Stephen King book! I've read it several times, but not in awhile

Thank you for the recommendation. I read short stories before by Steven King. Some of them were quite scary as I remember. I will be sure to look this one up.

This was by far my favorite book by Stephen King. I loved how it tied in with a lot of his other novels, sort of entangling them into one huge storyline.
