I've read a couple of Dean Koontz books and I enjoyed them - and I watched the Odd Thomas movie on Netflix and thought it was pretty good. Based on the feedback here, I will definitely pick up a copy of the first book and give it a try! It sounds like something I would probably enjoy.

I am currently reading From The Corner of His Eye by Dean Koontz and it is so good! This is my first book by Dean Koontz that I have read and I am excited to see what else he has written.

I am not a serious Dean Koontz fan, but I have enjoyed all of the Odd Thomas books. I have not yet read the last one in the series, but I hate to see Odd go because he is such a likable character. Even though some of the plot twists get a little bizzare I'm always up late at night just reading one more chapter to find out what happens to Odd in his latest adventure. The original "Odd Thomas" is still my favorite, but hopefully the last novel will send Odd out in style.

I loved the 1st five Odd Thomas books!
Can't wait to read the last two.
Too bad it has to end, I could keep reading about him for the rest of my life.

The Odd Thomas series is one of my favorite. I have read just about all of Dean Koontz's books. They are all so weird and quirky. All of his main characters have you rooting for them from the beginning.

Back in May of this year I messaged a former professor of mine who I knew taught Dean Koontz in some of his classes, asking for a recommendation on what book to start with. He recommended the first Odd Thomas book. In 6 months I have read all the books (minus the graphic novels) in the series except the last one, "Saint Odd," as well as several other books by Koontz. What a gold mine! I do like the first Odd Thomas book best out of all of them so far though. I really like Odd's character, he is very realistically written, I feel like he is just an ordinary guy I could have gone to school with.
