Thank you for your review! The minute I read that it was a sequel I was a little nervous but your reassurance that it could be read as a standalone was helpful. Serial killers are interesting characters to read about and I cannot wait to dive into this book. :techie-studyingbrown:

Despite not needing to read the first book, I would like to do so in order to get more background on the current characters.

I like the idea for the killer and the somewhat justified individuals he targets, but I’m not a fan of gore, so I’ll have to think about it.

I just can't bring myself to read it. I did a sample read, and Brian Gallagher is an amazing author. I can't handle serial killer storylines. They give me nightmares. I think it's because it's too close to the realm of feasibility.

Your review is almost convincing. lol

Ok I admit this book was not my cup of tea...
Maybe I got bored as we got nearer to the end of maybe I just didn't get the idea of it x

I am so excited about this one!!! I love anything to do with serial killers. I was disappointed at first to hear it was a sequel but am glad to hear it can be enjoyed without reading the first book.

Sounds like an interesting
book. The premise reminds
me somewhat of a movie
called "Sleepers" (watch it if
you haven't, if for no other
reason than it is chock-full of
celebrity appearances). The
abuses of the priesthood,
which are awful and
rampant and insidious, bring
me to a level of anger faster
than most things, and I
would definitely enjoy
reading a book with a
sympathetic serial killer.
Thank you for the review!
I haven't watched it yet, but now
I'm intrigued. And yeah, I really
got annoyed at those kind of
priests. Craig, for me, is a person
who is just a little confused and
vulnerable on the inside which
was what made me sympathize
with him a bit. Thank you for
reading my review!

This book sounds like it is really intense. I enjoy suspense/crime novels so I definitely will be reading this one. Some of the best novels in this genre are the ones where you hate and love the killer at the same time. I also like that reading the first book is not required to understand this one. This was a great review and you really sold me on this book. Great job!

The psychology of serial killers is fascinating. This sounds like a book that I would enjoy as long as the information is accurate and well-researched. Great review.

Thank you for your great review and the fair warning. I am a person that loves mysteries but hates the gore so I still am hesitant but very interested in this book! Thank you and God bless!

I just got finished reading the first chapter, I can’t wait to free up some time to finish it. The thing that appealed to me immediately was the cover of this book, the next thing that appealed to me was the concept. Serial killers are some of the most interesting people, real ones and fictional ones.

I'm reviewing this book as thrilling and exciting. It reminds me of a Canadian style Dexter type. This serial killer gets revenge on pedophiles. Very smart writing. In the mind of a killer, watching the FBI solve these cases. I would recommend anyone who likes horror/detective to read this.
