This review is phenomenally constructed. I love that I know I can read this book as a stand-alone. I also appreciate your detailed description of the plot without giving away any spoilers as well as your comments on the author's knowledge of the Middle East. When reading, I am often more absorbed in a book for the author's knowledge on the places and things the characters are involved in.

This is a beautiful review which captures the essence of what I read in a few chapters. Winnick has done it again, he knows to keep his audience yearning for more. I love the vividness of the book. The story came alive. Lara came with her no-nonsense attitude to get this act of terror solved but we are given peeks into her compassionate side by how she deals with the Rabbi. This is yet another Winnick masterpiece which will be going to my shelf for future reading. Congrats to the author on his work being selected for book of the day.

Lara and URI characters has always been a thrilling one, and the author must be an experts when it comes to investigating in real world, the missiles scenes is what I really don't wanna think of it for too long but the book is good.

From a sampling, this seems like an interesting thriller and excellent addition to Mr. Winnick's series, which follows two government agents, Lara and Uri, as they track down and prevent future terrorist activities. In this book, our agents are tasked with discovering who attacked a New York Synagogue and what the group is planning to do next. It is worth a second look. Well done.

Devil among us is a criminal, thriller book. Story is related to New York and investigative work involved in the story. I’m eager to read this book.

This is indeed a well packaged review from a book that showcases action from the various characters in the book such as Lara, Umi, Yehudi Barlev among others. The author expressed his voracious knowledge about the middle East and the United States conflict over the years which he wrote to enlighten us. Such an eye-opening book. Thumbs up for the BOTD.

A certainly well put together review that further adds to my desire to read this novel.
Thrillers are my go-to when looking for my literary high. Lara and Uri have established themselves in this anti-terrorism, hate crime space in a profound way, and I can't wait to immerse myself in the pages of this book. Congratulations to the author and the BoTD for a great pick.

Thank you for pointing out the multiple perspectives. I'm not a huge fan of multiple POV's. I like staying in one character's head at all times, unless it's a romance. Thanks for the great review.

Thank you for a very informative and excellent review. A well-paced, high-octane political thriller is right up my alley. I'll be sure to give Lara and Uri's second adventure a read.

I read a little bit of this book and so far it seems like something I could get into. I think the beginning is very messed up, with twisted views in it.

Anytime I read this story, my eyes can't escape tears. People dying whiles on holy grounds. The second novel in Lara and Uri series as a stand-alone is an interesting read. Good review.

The review sounds awesome, I enjoy reading about a terrorist attack but I must confess, Devil Among Us by Jack Winnick has been my favorite so far. Congratulations on BOTD.
