There are so many characters in this novel. I was wondering if some characters were included in the novel to tell the story from a different perspective, or were they included in the novel for other reasons?

Do you think Galen and Lord Meldorath will eventually meet?

I think that is going to be a major, if not the main, plot point, something like Harry meeting Voldemort.

I really like your question. At first I had just assumed it was to get the different perspectives but now reading through more of the books I cant help but notice how important they are. There is this web that has been weaved and I'm excited to see how it all comes together. I do hope Galen and Lord Meldorath meet at some point but I just haven't figured out how they come together and fit yet.

I think at some point they will. Galen seems like the kind to want to meet Lord Meldorath and end the struggle in Voulhire for good. Imagine what tragedy will follow when they meet!

I'm quite confident they will meet. Meldorath has caused some trouble in Voulhire, and I think Galen is getting rather attached to this new country, so Galen will likely end up fighting Meldorath to protect Voulhire.

I agree. It really seems as though the plot is being set up for a showdown with these two. The other characters contribute to the story in their own way, but Galen is supposed to be the main protagonist, and Meldorath is the main villain.

Galen is got fond of the Voulhire and it seems he would do anything to protect it. I hope they meet because Meldorath has resulted in trouble in Voulhire.

Based on how everything is set up, I think they will meet. Or rather, I think they might have already met, albeit I might be wrong.

I remember that Galen and Rowan met a sorcerer of some kind in the mines. I'm not sure though of the identity of this character. Although I do suspect if that character wasn't Meldorath, then it might have been someone who has connections with him.

The story seems set up for Galen to be the main protagonist and Lord Meldorath to be the antagonist, so I suspect that these two characters will eventually clash in an epic showdown.

I hope when the two characters meet they will have an epic showdown. I can't help but wonder, will it be a life or death situation when Galen and Lord Meldorath meet.

Yes he does! I think Galen will definitely get himself involved with defending Voulhire. That’s just his personality.

It was a slow start for me but I couldn't stop reading. I was curious about so many things and for your question, they are likely to meet. It's unlikely the meeting ends on a good note.

I think eventually yes. As Galen was introduced as the main character and Meldorath as the main bad one, the events will lead them to meet at the end.

It would be interesting to see these two meet. I read the first book and there was no indication of Galen having any kind of power or fighting skills, whereas Lord Meldorath is portrayed as immensely powerful. There are like day and night. Whatever the author decides, I'm sure it would be epic.

Yes, I think Galen and Lord Meldorath will meet at some point. I believe Lord Meldorath's character does not merely create a different perspective but that due to his ambition and desires, I feel that he is key to the development of Galen's journey in Voulhire.
