The title seems suitable as the name of one of the main characters. Though for me, this sounds more like a fantasy fiction title based on the fact that the name is quite unique. It would have been better if the title conveyed something about all three women.

The title of the book is appropriate as it does not give out exactly what the book entails making it intriguing to want to read.

I find kalayla to be a unique title compared to family ties which sounds quite obvious.A person is left curious on what the book is about.

Personally, I find Kalayla more befitting than "Family ties" since it ismore unique and catchy. Also, her character comes out more strongly ue to her potrayalby the author.

I think the title of the book is appropriate enough. I admit that the title was one of the first things that drew me in since it looked unique and eye-catching. When I read the summary and then the book itself, I understood why that title was chosen since Kalayla was the one who connected them both and intertwined their stories together. :)

Kalayla is just a perfect title. Apart from me having a special liking for that name, the youngest of the ladies, Kalayla, is the major bond of the circle.

I think the title is good. As much as the book revolves around three women, Kaylala is the center of attention. Interesting title to draw teens' attention to the book, as they can relate to her.

The author should have chosen a different title. This is not a book about Kaylyla per se, it is a book about the intertwined lives of three charismatic women. She is merely the link between them. That's my two cents on this.

Well the book isn't about Kalayla, she is just one of the protagonists. A better title would be "Filial Ties". This would remove the perception that the book is mainly about Kalayla. What do you guys think?

I think she's right for the title because she's the one that brought them all together in a way. She's the one that made Lena so perplexed and want to know more about her.

I think Kalayla was the right title for the book. We get the perspective of three women, but Kalayla is still the main character, and the story focuses around her. In the end, she is the one who brought all the families together, wether on purpose or not.

Kalayla is the one who connects Lena to her mother (the book's cover also hints this). Also, she is the youngest generation, while the two older women are potentially her future self. So, I think it's not weird to name the book after her.

Personally I am drawn to the book because of the unique title. Kalayla is the most appropriate title for the book because Kalayla is the one who impacts the other characters in the story the most. She is the glue that holds the characters and the entire story together. Therefore, I would not change the title of the story. Kalayla is the most appropriate title.

I think Kalayla is still a good book title because she is the glue that connects the three women together. This entire story could not be possible without this girl. Also think about an alternative title. Would it be all the women's names? Kalayla is cared for by both women and genuinely creates a family. I think the title is a great choice, but it's not an eye-catcher, per se.

The title does not say much, however, if you read the actual book, you'll discover that Kalayla is at the center of it all. For that reason, I find the title to be appropriate.
