Thank you for the comment.Espie wrote: ↑03 Jan 2019, 21:38 I could definitely see your point. We all meet a lot of people who each play a different role in our lives. Some we'd just encounter so briefly; there are those who would stay on so it's more possible for us to know and remember them better. Nonetheless, all of us are unique in our own right, but it doesn't readily mean that we deserve less than others. Thank you for your honest review.

The good thing is they can be easily fixed. Thanks!Bavithra M wrote: ↑03 Jan 2019, 22:05 Editing issues are big turn-off for a person while reading the book agree with your point. Good review by the way. Thanks.

It seems like the author's thoughts didn't translate well onto paper, which made it confusing. It would probably be good to have a glossary of foreign terms at the front/back. Thanks for the detailed review!
Yes, a glossary would be a great idea. Thanks!

Maybe a list of the characters and their relationships would be a good idea. Some authors don't like that, though. Thanks.

Thanks for commenting. A glossary of some kind would have come in handy for sure. I see a good story here, but it does need some work.Lunastella wrote: ↑04 Jan 2019, 12:16 Apparently, this book needs a lot of work. I think the idea is quite good, especially for fantasy readers, but I do hate books that are so confusing and I think if the author introduces terms that are not familiar for most readers, they should include a footnote or glossary.
Thank you very much for your honest review.

Sometimes I think that authors have these characters so firmly in their minds that they forget the readers don't. It's a good story, but it's frustrating. Thanks!kdstrack wrote: ↑04 Jan 2019, 22:01 Your review is certainly easier to read and understand than the book! Your confusion with the long names and the complicated relations is understandable. Other readers our here appreciate your honesty. Now I don't feel so bad about getting confused with some author's entangled writing. Thanks for all your hard work on this one!

Yeah... I had to triple check that one to make sure I had it right. It's one of those unpronounceable names. Thanks for commenting.Bianka Walter wrote: ↑05 Jan 2019, 03:56 Wow. I would be super disappointed. I understand giving characters complex names, but then stick to them. Don't give them easy names on top of the complicated ones. And I think complicated doesn't quite cut it... I mean, A'nyiavera Rhealianna D'Sur? Yikes.

Wow, these names sound like a whole new level of complication. I don't think this book is for me either, but thank you for this lovely review. With names such as Draekafiel and A'nyiavera Rhealianna D'Sur, who could blame me?

Thank you. It was interesting, but tedious to get through. Thanks.ButterscotchCherrie wrote: ↑06 Jan 2019, 13:36 The investigation into the possibility of elves (and maybe other supernatural creatures) existing sounds fascinating. It's a shame the book was so confusing.
