thanks for the review I shall give the book a browse.
There is definatley some grey area with the 'good guys' making questionable decisions. I think you would like it.

This is the most exciting review I've read in a long time! I simply cannot wait to pick this one up! I love supernatural and crime novels and when they come together I am simply in heaven. The unlikely pairing of Frank and Ariel sounds like an intriguing story to follow, and I can't wait to see how the kidnapping story plays out. I like that the dreams the raptors are having about being human in the past are not explained, leaving a bit of a cliffhanger for the next two books. Thanks for the read and review!

I was very intrigued by the title and the cover. Both reminded me of the notorious velociraptors and I wondered whether this was a sci fi book along the lines of Jurassic Park. However, from the review, this fantasy sounds even better! I liked that the author paid attention to provide details even the on the minor characters. The storyline sounds promising, with the idea of sequels mouth-watering. Thanks for the wonderful review!

Thanks for a well-written, thorough review! I like that there is good character development. Sometimes mysteries and crime stories are too plot-driven and the characterization is lacking.

Great review. Supernatural fantasy books have been drawing me for a while now, with your review, I think I'll yield to the temptation. Can't wait to read this book.

I love the way this story opened up with Ariel rescuing Frank, because most of the time, when there is a person being rescued, it's a female character being rescued by a male character. This story seems to flip the whole "damsel in distress" plot upside down from the first few pages. Thanks for the review!

An Urban Fantasy revolving around an ex-cop turned detective, demons, and raptors sounds exciting. Good writing, a great character development, and good pace add to the appeal. Too bad the lengthy scene description made the story lag. Still, it sounds like a good story. Thank you for the review!

This was an amazing opener for a science fiction thriller. The plot is riddled with suspense and I kept wondering when the demon army would eventually have its day. Thanks for the awesome review, it did the book justice. :tiphat:

I was hesitant at first about this book, but now I'm interested. The book seems very fast paced and the chapters are not too short or too long. Great review.

This review has piqued my interest! Nicolai does not sound like your average villain. How can he possibly show up in court when he has already been killed? I like the premise of this story and I am eager to find out more about the characters. Great review!

"This first book of a trilogy does a great job of setting up a world where the good and evil battle to keep a semi-equal balance." This phrase makes me wanna know which side stand out. The good or the evil. Thank you for your informative review. Congratulations to the author.

I know I won't read this book, but I did enjoy the sample. You mention the dry humour evident in the writing and that is so true. Thanks for the review!

I disagree. I appreciate when the author describes the scenes and characters the best they can. It enables me to see the story better in my mind. And the story line sounds like something I might enjoy. I already added it to my cloud reader.
