It's great that the author has found the right balance in technical details and the storyline. Also, I'm curious about the mystery behind Kiki's death. So I'm sure I won't be disappointed. Thanks for the great review.
Oh, you definitely won't be! If you do find the time to read this one, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

I really like the idea of a book set in the very near future so that the new technologies feel real. This sounds like a great book!

Wow, I love this kind of books where the mystery builds up gradually and enough hints are provided so that the readers can make their own guesses. As you mentioned, the book puts together a lot of themes common in the sci-fi genre to make a great book. Will love to read this one. Thanks for the very insightful review!

Well, I'm not sure how close we are on holographic clothes, but it was definitely realistic. I immensely enjoyed it. Thanks for commenting.

I hope you enjoy this one! I definitely did. I didn't quite guess what was going on or what was going to happen, but that just makes it all the more exciting! Thanks.

Sadly, it is so easy to believe how something like this could easily cause wars to break out. I love these types of technological thrillers. Thanks for the review.

There's a lot of truth in this sci fi story. I think it speaks to the state of our world if you look close enough. Hope you enjoy!

Books that make you maintain a high level of curiosity and the need to just go on and on despite a few shortcomings is much indeed worth your while in every aspect. Your review was up to par and the fact that i am a geek myself makes me want to start reading the book as soon as i stop typing this.

The Orb sounds like an intriguing read. Is this a dystopian future or a utopian future at risk?

A futuristic science fiction revolving around a mysterious alien artifact, virtual reality, and murder sounds great! Through in artificial intelligence , body transplantation, and virtual reality, and I am in! Applicable themes, intriguing plot, and good editing are certainly a plus. Thank you for the review!
