Your review's honesty is amazing, refreshing and much appreciated.
This isn't my kind of story, I'm not much into fantasy/sci-fi, but I think it's an original plot for those who enjoy the genre and it seems well developed.
However, I enjoyed your review very much, thank you.

Thanks for the awesome review. I love that the author used an alternative (and effective) way to keep the anticipation for the next books alive rather than simply using a cliffhanger ending. It is also good to know that the voices of the different characters were so distinct. I am definitely reading this one.

It is nice to not have have any negative things to say about a book. If only all books were that way. Merpeople aren't something I am particularly interested in, so I probably won't read this one. However, it is great that the writing is engaging enough to make you want to read the next one. Great review.

Thank you! You don't often read about merpeople in a realistic story such as this one. It was enjoyable.

Yes! I loved that it wasn't the typical let's just split one story into two to keep them coming back. But, I still want to read the next one! Thanks.

I didn't think I was interested in merpeople either, but the author pulled me in anyway. Thanks for commenting.

I have never heard about a merman before. I liked how you mentioned that the author made the readers want to read the next book but that this book was a complete story. I also do not like a series being made when the story should have just been one book. It's wonderful to hear that the book was well written.

Great review! :tiphat:
I too like to read about mermaids. I also how you said the story gets summed up, and not a cliff hanger, although it may be open for more books, there is a suitable ending to the story as well..
