It sounds like it's right up your mom's alley. If she reads it, let me know. I enjoyed it greatly.animatedwolf3432 wrote: ↑14 Oct 2018, 09:04 This book sounds really good, and actually like something my mom would enjoy reading. She's into aliens and government conspiracies. Cliffhanger endings can be brutal, but now it won't be so hard to deal with, thanks to your warning! I appreciate detailed scenes, so it's nice to know they're detailed. Thanks for your review!

I understand. Sometimes the authors rely on something familiar instead of branching out. It was still worth reading, though.JHuschle519 wrote: ↑19 Oct 2018, 23:58 Your review does make the book sound very interesting. I think the only thing that puts me on the fence about reading it is, like you mentioned, the Templar story line has been used quite a lot. I'm not sure if I'm up for another book on the topic, even if the author has put a new spin on it. Still, you review makes it tempting, so thank you for writing it so well.

I don't think this one would be too bad for you, but everyone is different. Thanks for the kind words.

Since this book in a genre that is my favorite I would be tempted to read it anyway. But you sold me on the book! With your sentence "She finally frees herself from Ingrid's influence, only to somehow land herself in a psychiatric ward. She starts discovering abilities that she never knew she had and quickly finds herself in over her head." I knew I would like it, but the other aspects sound intriguing to me as well. Aliens, and awakenings and saving the world from evil all wrapped up in a book that has action, and romance (without the steamy sex scenes it sounds like), then this book is right up my alley!
