When I first read your review, the first thing that came to mind was YA shapeshifter novels that are becoming more streamlined and clichéd. I'm glad this story brings a new perspective and authenticity in the idea of changing forms. I wouldn't mind reading this book.

Sounds like a great book. I am interested to see what all she turns into. I am curious what happens to her and Alex. Great review!

You did a fantastic job giving a summary without giving anything away. The book sounds amazing and like it has a lot of depth. I definitely need to add this to my bookshelf to read it later. It means a lot that you would look out for more books from this author. Sometimes, a book can be good, but it doesn't necessarily make you crave more of that author's writing style. I like to find exceptional authors like the one you described, as it really helps cut down on the time it takes to find an enjoyable book.

Nice review! I've just realized recently that I like shapeshifter books, especially those with a lot of twists and turns in the plot. I'll be adding this one to my TBR shelf!
