Exactly! That's what was so strange. It seemed the author had never read a book in English before, and you can't write without having first read. Thank you for commenting - I appreciate itjoshfee77 wrote: ↑20 Aug 2018, 15:57 "Must miss!" It's unfortunate to hear of the poor construction of this book, given the author's obviously deep imagination and some decent character development. I'm not sure how someone decides they should write a book without even a basic understanding of how paragraphs and punctuation work. That's the sort of thing you pick up simply by reading other books... Thanks for a very informative review!

I know, it was hard to read, but I'm glad there were some enjoyable aspects. I don't think I'd have made it through the entire thing if not for Steve...Bianka Walter wrote: ↑20 Aug 2018, 16:30 Oh dear. This seems like a bit of a chore. I'm so happy that the characters gave you something to enjoy towards the end. Poor Steve - that gave me a good chuckle.

I know, it was definitely a disappointment. Thanks so much for commenting!Ruba Abu Ali wrote: ↑21 Aug 2018, 07:30 What a pity! I was anticipating high potential when I embarked on your review. But the book turned out to be a disappointment. I don't think I will go for a read that expects readers to fill in the gaps. That being said, I appreciate your detailed and honest review. Thanks.

The plot sounded very interesting and it seemed like it had a lot of potential ... until I read the part where you mentioned the massive editorial flaw Hopefully it will be professionally edited soon and maybe then, I'll give it a read.

I know - it was so disappointing!JR Mercier wrote: ↑27 Aug 2018, 04:07 I had so much hope for this one but then I saw the '1 out of 4 stars' bit and it made me wanna cry. It's honestly the worst when a really good book fails because of lack of editing.
