"What I liked most was how the narrative was like a puzzle that got more complex as I tried to solve it; with each passing chapter, a layer of depth was added to the story. "

That is a great recommendation. Any book that fits that description is on my list to read.

@alan0803 it does have a sense of the eerie, not too much though, you'll enjoy.
@amysmiles thank you! get it, it's an awesome book.
@daydreamingreader it really is!
@dolldave thanks! you totally should.
@kates that's great. I have a feeling you'll enjoy it as much as I did. :)
@kandscreeley Ikr, the cover immediately captured my attention - so I rushed to read the book's description and that's when I knew that I have to read it. I totally appreciated the layers, and it's totally worth it - get it, you'll love the depths of the story.
@cecillia_l thank you! :)
@penbreath09 thanks.
@anwidmer 100% once I got started it was hard to put down. Feels good to discover someone who's also read the book and have them echo the same experience :D The fact this is a debut novel impressed me. Also, paperback feels nice to hold and actually turn pages...but I live far, delivery to where I live is heavily taxed and then there's shipping; so I usually just opt for Ebook.
@teacherjh Thanks. I'm glad! In that case, you'll definitely love this one.
