A science fiction fantasy novel with fast-paced narration depicting many scenes of bloodbaths featuring fistfights and gun battles, with a solid plot. Can't wait for the next novel. Love good sci-fi books.

I would love to read this sci fi as I am curious to know whether Dante can come up to the expectation of Merlin and if he succeeds then how did he make it possible even with his sightlessness. Thanks for the review!!!

Sounds like a great book. I love Sci-fi and Fantasy. I like series even more. This book sounds like all the things I love. I will have to check this book out eventually, when I finish all the other book on my list. Thanks for the review.

Excellent! This sounds like a wonderful book for me since I love supernatural and sci-fi reads. I'm glad the review points out that it stands alone, despite being part of a series. I'm always nervous to try and get into a series with anything but book one.

I look forward to reading this book. I really like it when you can't really tell what is next in a story and are surprised at the upcoming events and this one definitely sounds like a interesting read.

I'm a huge fan of tales including knights and Merlin. I look forward to seeing how these characters interact. I'm glad that it isn't required for you to read the first book to understand what is going on. I'm glad to add this book to my collection.

Thanks for the great review. The cover threw me off and I was ready to not want to read it, but after reading your review I will add to my list. I would like to read more of Merlin and Dante

I like the title and I like the concept. I think I would read the first book before this one.

I really like her concise and explanatory review of this sci-fi adventure. After just reading The Relik series, I am now into this genre, a new thing in reading for me. Of course, I was a Star Trekker in my youth so it brings back those old adventurous feelings. I look forward to starting this Merlin series now. Thank you for preparing my thinking.

This sounds like a good read. I find the combination of modern and archaic English a nice touch to add to the story.

Thanks for the very detailed review! Your review does a great job of stating all the factors that make me interested in checking it out. The book sounds very action-packed and engaging. I am not an avid fantasy reader, but this seems like a very refreshing read. Sometimes you can feel lost within all the details when reading a series, so it's great that this is a stand-alone book. I like that it incorporates the universal theme of good vs evil and has a unique twist on the heroes being blind.

I’m interested in learning more about the wolf companions and other creatures in this book. The mix of archaic and modern language also sounds interesting. Thanks for the review!
