Great review. Sounds like a wonderful story that I can really get into. Scifi is one of my favorite genres.

It happens that the tormentors may be part of the plan to rob one of their destiny if not to eliminate them. While others seek Dante's fall, Merlin ensures that Dante is enrolled in the school of the knights.

It should be interesting reading a novel written in both archaic and modern English. The characters and adventure should make this a good read.

I might try this one out - I love seeing Merlin and others from Arthurian legend in different settings. Thank you for pointing out that the characters are nuanced and citing how a particular character does something admirable; hopefully that means some really interesting character growth is forthcoming in future volumes.

Good to see that the book is a great treat for the science fiction and fantasy novels fans. I like stories that are fast-paced and this one is one of them. I will be glad to read it and get to know how Dante survived till the end.

Based on the review I definitely want to read this book. I love the sci-fi/fantasy genre. I want to read the first book before I read the second of the series. I also enjoy reading about knights and this book sounds interesting. I can’t wait to read both books.

The book sounds entertaining and thrilling but sorry I won't consider it because it contains some magical and supernatural features that I wouldn't want to feed my heart and mind with. Thanks for sharing the review.

When it comes to ScFi, it helps when it is written in easy, comprehensible language. I also like that it is full of twists. The cover grabs one's attention and gives the impression that the story is one of suspense. I put the book on my list. Thank you for the review.

I really read this just for the stout-heartedness of Merlin and Dante. What amazing characters!

There were several Merlin characters I've encountered before the one in this book. Aside from the magical powers, I'm curious to know what else his common grounds with his other namesakes are. I couldn't find any telltale sign yet from the sample I've read that it belongs to the science fiction genre. However, I agree that this fantastical piece's ability to stand alone despite being the second one in a series is a plus. Thank you for your honest review.

Nice review indeed!
The book seems a good blend of mystery and diversity and that in Sci fiction.
I would definitely read it.

I think the fact that you rated it a four out of four even though you don't normally read these types of books speaks volumes. I'm very interested in reading this book now. I, myself, really like fantasy books and the occasional sci-fi as well. With the diverse characters, strong plot, and great descriptions, this book certainly seems to be up my alley. I really like that the author is bold enough to tackle some serious issues, too, such as rape. It's also great that the book doesn't shy away from graphic content, though I agree that it wouldn't be for the faint of heart. Thank you so much for your thoughtful review!
