Review of Pocket Watch Portal Adventure
The book "Pocket Watch Portal Adventure" was written by MM Myers. It revolves around kids named Justice, Ellie, Teddy, and Baby Artie, who are siblings and are on an adventurous journey with the help of the Pocket Watch.
The story begins in a little town in South Texas, where Kid's grandparents live. On one fine day, when the kids were out of their grandparents' house to play, an old pocket watch caught the eye of Justice. As their curious minds started to predict what it could be and why it's there. As they picked it up and started to investigate it, that point marked the beginning of magical moments. When they took a close look at it and cleared the dirt immediately, a magical portal opened in front of them, which was exciting and confusing, yet they entered the portal together, which transported them to different places with different timelines.
Once they entered the different timeline world, it was a truly thrilling experience because they got to see some ancient things and people whom they had only heard about but never thought they would witness in their lifetime. So their time traveling through the portal with the help of the pocket watch continued; their adventurous journey made them visit enchanted places, creatures, and many important people from old times, where they witnessed how life was going on at that time. In the same way, they were able to visit the future and witness how the world will change in the upcoming years.
Overall, their adventurous journey gave them joy, memorable moments, and the opportunity to witness the fairy tale world, which they had only listened to stories about. Along with this, they even witness some dangerous moments, where they are questioned about the world and the people they visit. One interesting factor is that they got a chance to have insight into how the world will be in the future. As their journey continues, will they experience pleasant moments every time? How will their journey continue? Will their family believe their adventures? How will kids handle this portal? How did they face challenges as kids? This book explores this journey very well.
I rate this book 5 out of 5. The best part of the book is the wonderful storytelling by the author; it captured my attention from the first chapter, and I started to enjoy it. The kids' pictures are cute, and the story built around the past and future time is very good. I loved the story and engaging narration. I didn't find any grammatical mistakes in the book, so it's well edited. I loved every aspect, so there weren't any disliking factors in this book. This book is best for children as a bedtime story; even adults can enjoy the magical adventure because magic always feels wonderful, irrespective of age. So please do read this book and have a good time.
