I believe the following books of the series will become more and more complex and interesting. It somehow reminded me of J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series which acquired more and more depth as she continued writing one novel after another.

Thanks. I also loved the fact that the protagonist was a young girl with a wild imagination and an incredible artistic talent. One of the strong points of the book is that all the characters are very well portrayed. Besides, the protagonists have also complex personalities and they learn and change throughout their journey.

Thank you. It somehow reminded me of famous books like Alice's Adventures in Wonderland or Gulliver's Travels which have been read and analyzed as both children's books and books for adults. I guess that's the destiny of great books: to appeal to a large audience.

Taking part in the OBC first ten program taught me better than anything else how important it is to have a great cover. In the case of this book, the cover was the first thing that caught my eye. I was definitely happy to have read and reviewed it.

At a first glance, the novel targets young adult readers, yet there is an extra layer of meaning. For adult readers, it becomes an allegory on human condition and contemporary society.

Wow. This sounds marvelous! I love the fantasy elements here. It also seems like the author worked hard on the worldbuilding. I, too, would love to see this on paperback.
